In 1977, after having graduated with a degree in Architecture from Cal Poly and working through college with some of the best contractors in the area, Jerry Williams started J.W. Design & Construction with a focus on creating the best design-build firm of custom homes in San Luis Obispo. In the mid-80s the firm started to expand that vision into commercial office buildings, retail, and agricultural coolers and by the early-90’s, our expertise had grown to include large retail outlets and wineries throughout the County. This year, it hopes to add three new brands to its arsenal, whether through an internal launch or acquisition.
